Chef Robert Moltzan Joins Closer to the Vine!
We are thrilled to announce that Chef Robert Moltzan is now our permanent resident chef at Closer to the Vine. Our evening menu of small plate selections is now available each evening. This menu currently includes the following selections:
Tuna Tar Tar: Tuna, avocado, cucumber, shallots, spicy Asian aioli. Crostini. Wasabi foam. $10
Tiradito: Peruvian Ceviche, featuring Corvina, Aji Amarillo, lime, cilantro, and garlic. “Causa” Peruvian style potato salad. Pickled red onions. $10
Shrimp and Crab Napoleon: Layered with mango salsa and sliced Asian pear. Jicama lime salad. Tomato ginger vinaigrette. $15
Spanish Salmon: House smoked salmon Special cheeses and herbed olive oil over Crostini. $10
Korean Pork Ribs: Pineapple, spicy sauce. Kim Chi. Honey roasted peanuts and scallions. $10
Cheese for Two: Terrine, combination of cheese with walnuts and dried fruit served with crostini, various cheeses, chicken liver mousse, charcuterie, crackers and seasonal fruit. $28
Tomato Caprese: Fresh sliced tomato and mozzarella, balsamic caviar. Lemon ginger foam. $10
Pressed Salad: Fresh diced tomatoes, fennel, artichoke hearts, mint and capers. Wasabi peas. $12
Beet Salad: Sliced marinated beets. Cous Cous salad. Honey and spices accent this vegan dish. $10
